Retwist pricing is based on the amount of new growth, time since your last maintenance appointment, and the amount of work required to properly restore your locs. For the best maintenance and standard retwist pricing, clients are encouraged to return every 4–6 weeks. If you have extended new growth, excessive matting, tangled roots, or have gone longer between appointments, an additional maintenance fee will apply. Extra new growth requires more time for shampooing, separating the locs, cleaning the parts, and properly retwisting the hair. Please book according to the condition of your locs—not just the service you received at your last appointment. At Satin Locs, pricing reflects the time, maintenance, and care required for your locs at each visit.
